3 Questions With Kelsey
What’s the best thing you cook?
The best dish I make are Miso Cabbage Japanese pancakes with a carrot and pickled ginger slaw. Baking-wise, I love making ice cream and my family’s Logan Birthday Cake (angel food with a whipped cream frosting, coated in macadamia nut brittle). When was a memorable time you made lemonade out of lemons?
When I started with JS2 PR I was nervous. I came from a different industry and felt like I was out of my league. While I had confidence in the skills I had there were some that I hadn’t used since studying PR in college. However, my tenacity and overall excitement to learn allowed me to overcome my nerves and I was able to take on more advanced tasks like drafting pitches! Why do you love working in food and beverage PR?
I’ve always been obsessed with the restaurant and culinary industry. I fan-girl over restaurants and chefs more so than the typical Hollywood celebrity. It is hard for local food and beverages companies and restaurants to break through the clutter and get the word out about their products. I am happy to offer support and services to help them be successful.
