3 Questions With Emanuelah
What’s the best thing you cook?
I enjoy cooking different types of foods and always try new ones. However, I believe the one I enjoy the most is making pasta from scratch and serving it with a side that can be seafood or meat. I enjoy making pasta not only because it is delicious but because it provides me with the best moments with my friends and family. These are the moments when we get together to enjoy and be grateful for the simple act of eating. When was a memorable time you made lemonade out of lemons?
When younger I used to live in the countryside of Brazil in a condominium of houses in a city called Bragança Paulista, and in Brazil we don't have the tradition of Children making lemonade stands. However, I remember watching a movie and seeing this brilliant idea of my cousin and I making a Jug of lemonade and selling, so we did it and we went around, knocking door to door asking if someone wanted to buy a cup (or some cups) of lemonade and I had some tangerines in my pockets to sell as well.In the end, nobody wanted to buy it (to be honest I confess it was not the best lemonade), and my cousin and I did not earn any payment besides old candies.
It was my first “business” and after that I created many others including hair and nail salons, second hand clothes stores, banks, restaurants, everything between the ages of 7-10. This experience taught me and actually flourished in me the skill of entrepreneurship and I sweetly keep these memories in my mind.
Why do you love working in food and beverage PR?
I love working in food and beverage PR because for me food is more than a need. It’s a passion that has been with me for many years and I can even say it is like an emotional support for me. Therefore, working with it brings me a feeling of meaningfulness and belonging..
