Experience
JS2 PR was Ed’s first full-time job after college, having majored in public relations. While in school, he worked as a support professional for children with disabilities.
Education
Ed is a proud “pandemic graduate” of 2020, and earned his B.A. in Public Relations with minors in Spanish and Sports Business from the University of Oregon. Ed was a member of the Warsaw Sports Business Club, and took advantage of the program’s study abroad opportunities in Germany, The Netherlands, and England. He’s also been involved with Youth Movement, a group dedicated to empowering Native American youth through sports.

What’s the best thing you cook?
New York strip steak. I can do it on a grill, but a cast-iron pan really takes it to the next level.
When was a memorable time you made lemonade out of lemons?
Getting a job in the middle of a pandemic—a big moment for a first-generation college graduate.
Why do you love working in food and beverage PR?
I love all the different backgrounds of people you encounter in the industry, and how food is a binding force among them all. The LA dining scene is truly vibrant, and it makes work feel like a new adventure every day.
