Since the start of her career, Casey has worked to create a niche within the realm of executive visibility and positioning, securing key leadership profiles for her clients, vetting opportunities, and drafting personalized content for her clients. She also has a knack for pitching national media, gaining the traction needed to increase her clients’ SEO rankings, and get them the attention they deserve.
Originally from Florida, Casey loves the beach, is an avid concert-goer, and performs comedy around Los Angeles.

Experience
Casey worked in tech and corporate PR with clients like Oracle and Bank of America, but craved a people-focused change. This led her to White Oak Communications, where she worked on Grand Central Market (which hooked her on restaurant and lifestyle PR). Prior to JS2, Casey did internships in PR, and had the fun opportunity to intern for Conan O’Brien.
Education
Casey studied media, journalism, and PR at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and took classes in screenwriting, philosophy, politics, and economics. She was highly involved in the journalism school as a student ambassador, assisted the school’s PR team for Relay for Life, and was a member of an improv and sketch team.

Moving to LA was hard at first, but I gave myself the time to get comfortable and learn the city through volunteering and writing classes.Why do you love working in food and beverage PR?
The storytelling possibilities are endless. Food is intrinsically tied to culture, history, and family, and I’ve never met a group of people more passionate about sharing these stories.
