Amy brings to the table formidable writing and media relations skills in her role at JS2 where she is responsible for developing and facilitating her clients’ PR strategies.  During her career, she has worked to develop close relationships with the local, regional and national media including Eater LA, Thrilllist, the Los Angeles Times and Food & Wine.

Amy began building her PR career by helping to launch uber-LA brand Coolhaus, where she played an integral role in overseeing the food truck start-up as it evolved into a national, gourmet ice cream brand.   Prior to Coolhaus, Amy worked in the non-profit arts sector for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Martha Graham Dance Company, Apollo Theater, and Theater Development Fund, to name a few.

Amy holds a B.A. from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study which allowed her, amongst other things, to incorporate glassblowing classes into her final thesis (yes, really!). In her spare time, the proud LA native can be found hiking, attempting to perfect the art of gluten-free baking, and Instagramming her adorable orange cat’s every movements.
