Suzanna Tran is a Digital Account Director for JS2 PR, where she oversees social media strategy, influencer relations, and content development.

She leads account management and communications for digital clients, as well as strategy for social media clients, ensuring all content, copy, and collaborations are on-brand. Suzanna also handles the hiring and mentorship of JS2’s junior team, and pitches and signs new clients. Additionally, she serves as creative director, overseeing content shoots.

Suzanna genuinely enjoys shooting and editing food and beverage photography. She also organizes social events for the AAPI community in Southern California, including hikes and food-centric outings.

Experience

Before joining the team at JS2 PR, Suzanna worked with several international food and beverage clients, including Granarolo USA, as a social media producer for business development firm Nuove Sales. Prior to that, she was a freelance social media specialist.

Education

Suzanna earned a B.A. in Gender Studies at UCLA, where she was an active member in the Social Awareness Network for Activism through Art (SANAA).

  • When was a memorable time you made lemonade out of lemons?
    When we had to halt all media reservations during the shutdown of indoor dining, we reached out to the influencer foodie community for support. For each of our restaurant clients, we managed to collaborate with at least ten influencers who voluntarily promoted our clients’ takeout options on social media. A couple of our longstanding influencers even placed delivery orders in a small part to help keep our restaurant clients afloat during an uncertain time.

    Being on top of food trends and restaurant news, and enjoying exclusive menu tastings before openings.
