3 Questions With Ellianna

  • What’s the best thing you cook?
I’d say I’m more of a baker: a classic Chocolate Chip Cookie.

  • When was a memorable time you made lemonade out of lemons?
My senior year of high school was completely online due to COVID-19. As an editor for my school’s yearbook, I had to somehow fill 150 pages with photos and copy in spite of Covid restrictions. The only people allowed at sports and extracurricular events were the students participating, and not even I could get a pass from the school. From doing interviews over spotty Zoom calls to teaching photography basics to football players who had never touched a camera before, I effectively completed the yearbook! It was a lot of extra juggling, but totally worth it in the end.

  • Why do you love working in food and beverage PR?
The summer before my sophomore year of college, I lived in Rome for a month and took a summer class on the culture around Italian food. I loved learning about how Italians associate food with love, and realized I thought the same. The ability to share that feeling with others by promoting someone’s restaurant or company is extremely fulfilling.
